Discharge Specs

Discharge specifications: Output current capacity: 5V/3.1A, 9V/2.22A, 12V/1.67A, synchronous switch discharge 5V\2A, efficiency reaches more than 95%.

Functions & Protections

Other functions: Automatically detects the insertion and unplugging of mobile phone data cables, automatically identifies the wireless charging function of Apple series mobile phones, and does not require button activation. Supports battery temperature detection, intelligent load identification, automatic shutdown at light load, and 188 digital tube power display.

Multiple protections, high reliability: input overvoltage, undervoltage protection, short circuit protection, built-in IC temperature, battery temperature and input voltage loop to intelligently adjust charging current.

Battery Lock & Activation

Low battery lock and activation: When the battery is connected for the first time, no matter what the battery voltage is, the chip is in a locked state, and the battery light will flash for five seconds when the battery is at the lowest level. In the non-charging state, if the battery voltage is too low and triggers a low-battery shutdown, it will also enter the locking state. When the battery is low, there is no cell phone insertion detection function, and it cannot be activated by pressing the button. In the locked state, you must enter the charging state (plug in the charging cable) to activate the chip function.

Charging Process

Charging: When the battery is less than 3V, use 200m trickle charging; when the battery voltage is greater than 3V, enter constant current charging; when the battery voltage is close to the set battery voltage, enter constant voltage charging. When the charging current at the battery end is less than about 400mA and the battery voltage is close to constant voltage charging, charging will stop. After charging is completed, if the battery voltage is lower than 4.1V, restart battery charging. When charging with VIN 5V input, the input power is 10W; when charging with fast charge input, the input power is 18W. Supports simultaneous charging and discharging. When charging and discharging at the same time, the input and output are both 5V.

Charging and discharging at the same time: When the charging power supply and electrical equipment are plugged in at the same time, it will automatically enter the charging and discharging mode. In this mode, the chip will automatically turn off the internal fast charging input request.

Detection & Control

Mobile phone automatic detection: The mobile phone is plugged into the automatic detection function and wakes up from standby immediately. It gives priority to turn on the boost 5V to charge the mobile phone. If it is recognized that the mobile phone has a fast charging protocol, it will switch to fast charging after a few seconds.

Full automatic detection: When the phone is fully charged and the current is less than 80mA for 32S, the product will shut down.

Button function: Power on: Short press the button once to turn on the power display and boost output, and the product turns on. Shutdown: Short press the button twice within 1 second to turn off the boost output, power display, and shut down the product.

Frequently Asked Questions

What charging speeds and ports are supported?

The system supports one USB C port for input and output up to 22.5W, and one USB A port with a 10W output. It also supports wireless charging outputs of 5W, 7.5W, 10W, and 15W.

How does the system handle simultaneous charging and discharging?

When both a charging power supply and an electrical device are plugged in simultaneously, the chip automatically switches to charging and discharging mode. During this mode, the internal fast charging input request is turned off, and both input and output operate at 5V.

What happens when the battery enters a locked state?

The chip locks when the battery is first connected or when a low-battery shutdown occurs. In this state, mobile phone insertion detection and button activation are disabled. You must plug in a charging cable to enter the charging state and reactivate the chip.

How does the automatic mobile phone detection work?

Plugging in a phone immediately wakes the device from standby and activates a 5V boost charge. If a fast charging protocol is detected from the mobile phone, the system automatically transitions to fast charging after a few seconds.

What safety protections are integrated into the chip?

The system features input overvoltage and undervoltage protection, short circuit protection, and intelligent charge current adjustments governed by built-in IC temperature, battery temperature, and input voltage loops.

How do I manually control power-on and shutdown?

You can turn on the power display and boost output by short-pressing the button once. To shut down the product and disable the outputs, short-press the button twice within 1 second.
